Hey, I'm Chase
I like to be uncomfortable - complacency kills growth.
That mindset came from competitive mogul skiing - standing at the top of an icy, sketchy course, knowing you'd have to trust yourself to land the first jump and attack the next set of bumps.
I was fortunate to pursue skiing seriously through school, finishing high school classes 1.5 years early to train full time before heading to college. I didn't quite reach the World Cups, but I came quite close. Ten years of competition taught me what it truly takes to win at the highest level, a lesson that's shaped how I approach academics, my career, and new personal goals. Now, I just ski for fun.
— Career
Started with Mechanical Engineering at Colorado School of Mines, fond interest in AI and Data Science so I picked up a computer science minor.
The interest in tech grew, leading me to a Master's in AI Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, where I got to participate in research at the Safe AI Lab led by Ding Zhao. During my time at CMU, I connected with talented peers and driven individuals, and co-founded Quaternion Studios to build AI-powered solutions.
